DescriptionThis is robot #9 from the book "10 cool Lego Mindstorms Ultimate Builders projects". I made a MLCAD model while building it. The POV-Ray result is on the right, i'm sure it is against copyrights to publish the model file!
I'm not happy with several things: there is 1 motor for moving the bot; basically it runs only forward. The touch bumper is doing a very bad performance; the gripper movement up and down is not controlled at all (the motor stays on a while, when the gripper is 100% raised or lowered).
My idea to use my Infra Red Obstacle Detector for this bot is put aside: such a high-tech sensor requires a more clever bot.
